Intelligent Human-Buildings Interactions Lab: Identify, Quantify and Guide Energy-saving Behavior at University Campus

As far as we know, the project is unique in its approach to using laboratory experiments to explore the interaction between energy use, energy efficiency measures and the behavior of the residents at the Intelligent Human Buildings Interactions Lab (IHBI).

About the Project

The interaction between occupant behaviors and energy retrofitting measures is a complex and often oversimplified scenario, which has resulted in the failure of energy retrofitting. The success of energy retrofitting measures heavily relies on the systematic modeling and analysis of the interaction scenarios.
